Artist’s Statement
Deena Lynch is an Australian/Japanese Musician, Visual Artist, Photographer and Feminist more commonly known by her stage name “Jaguar Jonze”.  Lynch is an advocate for mental health, the #metoo movement and trauma awareness.  Through these experiences, she was inspired to make a change and write her song “LITTLE FIRES” which is about speaking up about sexual abuse and making a change.

Despite always being enthusiastic - I decided to portray Deena through her serious side.  I wanted to show both my audience and Deena’s audience that despite managing to turn negatives into optimistic experience  and that behind all the bobby lyrics are extremely powerful and important messages in society which need to be heard.
