PORTRAIT OF MARTIN GOODRICH
Oil on Linen
81 w x 107 h cm
Martin’s main passions have been the friendships and connections developed over his 45 year career as a Chartered Accountant. He is a family man, Business Owner, former Partner of a large Professional Practice. He loves to help young entrepreneurs translate their vision into commercial and NFP enterprises through mentorship and guidance through their journeys.
His philosophy is to ensure friends and clients “sleep well at night” without stress.
He dedicated his career to understand family dynamics, intergenerational issues and challenges, and importantly, relationships. Martin loves music and plays his guitar in particular to find his own relaxation and peace.
He focuses on delivering results and outcomes. Friendships are the driver of his being. Martin has served clients for over many decades and has maintained strong relationships over all that time. To Martin, communication, social focus, honesty and integrity are the things that people know they can rely and depend on him.
This painting is a recognition of his dedication and professional service to all he has helped over the years.
As a friend, like his family, we are all so very proud of Martin and I wanted to congratulate him with painting him for my entry into the 2023 Archibald Prize.
Martin’s painting has been a blessing for me, as life is about living and giving those special things to people that inspire you in life.
