COFFEE AT DOC Marc Rogerson, Artist Oil on Canvas 130 cm w x 163 cm h NFS Artist’s Statement Marc is a friend, also an artist. As we sat at DOC in Lygon Street, having coffee as a ritual, covering many subjects and reminiscing times gone by, Marc made my day when he agreed to be my sitter for the Archibald 2022. I painted Marc’s portrait at my studio in Carlton North. It was rather odd that he wore an apron that resembles colours of the Ukranian flag as the portrait was painted in January this year. |
