MIKE BRADY AM - MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE Oil on Canvas 60 cm w x 76 cm h $6,000 Artist’s Statement Mike Brady AM is well-known in Australia, particularly for the songs ‘Up There Cazaly’ and ‘One Day in September’ with many other hits since the mid 60's to 80's. In 2013 Mike was made a member of the Order of Australia and received an AM for significant service to the community, and to music as a composer and performer. In 2017 Mike was made Victorian of the Year and in 2019 ‘Up There Cazaly’ was inducted into the Sounds of Australia Registry. Mike has been a property developer, an advertising executive, a public speaker and a general raconteur. |
