ONLY THE YOUNG CAN LIVE IN THE FUTURE
Acrylic on Canvas

$3,950

Artist’s Statement
Only the Young Can Live in the Future is a self-portrait situated in the middle distance of a life.  It is not marked by arrival or decline, but by suspension.  It reflects a moment where the future once expansive, becomes conceptual rather than tangible.  What was projection, now hovers as abstraction. The work is an abstract snapshot of the space between becoming and receding.
