Artist’s Statement
In our hyper-connected society every action leaves behind a digital foot print that brings into question whether any of us can have the anonymity that was once taken for granted. The extent of this foot print is staggering from our internet and social media activity through to our physical presence being tracked by AI enhanced technologies such as facial recognition.

The balancing act of ensuring public safety whilst also preserving privacy has been highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic.  QR code check-ins and digital vaccination certificates have aided public health but at the cost of our privacy and civil liberties.
