EM Oil & Gold Leaf on Linen 60 w x 120 h cm $5,000 Artist’s Statement Emili Rackemann is an Australian composer and pianist with a worldwide reputation for both her performances and compositions. Her classical training and a familial lineage of classical European pianists has ensured her devotion to the craft and finds her constantly composing new albums (available on her website https://www.emilirackemann.com/piano-music-1). Fortunately she lives close to my studio so we were able to spend a lot of time to work on this painting. She was a delight to work with and being highly creative she was really in tune with the process. |
