KATERINA Oil on Linen 46 cm w x 138 cm h $5,000 Artist’s Statement Katerina is a model I had used for life drawing but this time I wanted to capture that thoughtful pensive look I had seen between sessions. The background of goldleaf and glazed asphaltum together with her costuming and pose harken back to Renaissance paintings, which was the intent. |
